Tour Summary – Your travel in a specially equipped safari vehicle, with only you, your family and driver/guide in the private vehicle. As with all our tours you are guarenteed a window seat therefore. It is a 2 to 3 hour drive from Nairobi to Nakuru. Nakuru is the home of the famous flamingoes, but the compact Park is home to many animals, even rhino’s nowadays. It is a full mornings drive from Nakuru to the Masai Mara. In the Masai Mara you will certainly see large numbers of animals and birds in this massive Park. Around July to October you may see the famous wildebeest migration. On this tour you get a taste of two of the most famous and popular safari parks in the world.

Itinerary

Day 1

An early departure from your hotel and from Nairobi, drive from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive around the lakeshore. Overnight at a Lake Nakuru lodge. (LD)

Day 2

Morning drive to Masai Mara National Reserve for two-night stay at a Mara lodge. After lunch you enjoy a game viewing drive. (BLD)

Day 3

Full day in the Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Time to relax and enjoy the surrounds of being in the Masai Mara. At night make sure you survey the wonderful night sky which looks so different with no light pollution. (B)

Day 4

Drive back to Nairobi arriving at about mid-day after the 4-5 hour drive back across the Rift Valley perhaps stopping at local shops and the Rift Valley viewing points along the way.(B)
